There is a difference between a company that sells scales and a company that builds them, and it usually only shows up when something goes wrong or when a job does not fit a standard size.

We have been manufacturing truck and livestock scales in Oklahoma since 1976. Not just distributing them. Building them from the ground up.

Here is why that is worth knowing
before you buy or service a scale.

Talking to the people who built it

When you call us with a problem, you are talking to the people who designed and built the equipment, not someone reading from a troubleshooting script. That matters when a scale is acting up in a way that does not fit a simple checklist. We can usually tell you what is likely going on based on the symptoms alone, because we know how the thing was put together.

This holds true even if we did not sell you the scale in the first place. We service and repair all major truck and livestock scale brands, not just our own.

NTEP certification is not a nice to have

Any scale used in a commercial weighing transaction, meaning any time weight affects what someone pays or gets paid, has to be legal for trade. That means it needs NTEP certification, which confirms the scale meets accuracy and design standards set by the National Type Evaluation Program.

This is not paperwork for its own sake. If a scale is not certified, weights taken on it can be challenged, and that can turn into a real problem if a buyer or seller disputes a transaction. Every scale we manufacture, from a single-animal livestock scale to a full-length truck scale, carries that certification.

One scale built for two jobs

A lot of operations need to weigh both trucks and livestock, and the easy answer is usually to buy a truck scale and bolt rails onto it later. We build our combo truck and livestock scales to do both from the start, which means the platform, the load cells, and the layout are designed around both uses instead of one being an add-on to the other.

The practical benefit is fewer pieces of equipment to maintain, one calibration schedule instead of two, and a system that was actually engineered for the job rather than adapted to it.

When the standard size does not fit

Standard scale sizes cover most situations, but not every property, feedlot, or terrain works with an off the shelf layout. We build custom deck lengths, platform configurations, and portable setups for sites that need something different. If you have been told a job could not be done, there is a decent chance it can, it just needs the right build.

The bottom line

Buying from the manufacturer means fewer middlemen, more straight answers, and someone who actually knows the equipment on the other end of the phone. If you are weighing a purchase, a repair, or something custom, we would rather talk it through with you directly than have you guess.
